Laydown 125cc gearbox packs a serious adrenaline punch. Although the
125cc TM has less torque than the 250cc singles, they spin a lot of RPMs and reach about the same top speeds.
The rotary has no problem lighting up the tires, so you had better be ready when you
stand on it. It demands respect.

The 100cc controlled class is one of the most challenging classes in road racing.
The low profile, sleak bodywork makes these karts very aerodynamic and very fast.
The lack of a significant draft also means that you can't afford to make any mistakes
behind the wheel. With only a centrifical clutch you can't just grab a gear if you
over shoot a corner. Finding the right combination (flex, gear, carburetion,
chassis setup, etc) during practice is critical to winning.

The 125cc sprint class has become one of the largest classes in road racing. Part of the
draw comes from the ease with which one can purchase a sprint package that's ready to
race. In addition, the large draft that situp karts produce at 100+ mph produces
large packs and tight racing. The competition in the 125cc Sprint class is intense!

80cc sprint is another class with great participation. Like 125cc sprint, the
racing is always tight in the 80cc class. However, with less horsepower than the 125, the
80cc is less forgiving to mistakes. Only by being totally smooth
behind the wheel can you get everything out of the kart. It's an excellent class for
both new racers and veterans.

Unlike road races, which typically takes place on one to four mile road race tracks,
dirt speedway is run on 1/8 to 1/2 mile oval dirt tracks. Anything that can be done to
make you "turn left" better can improve your chances for a win. Stagger, tire compounds, air pressures,
spring rate, caster / camber, weight jacking...and a lot of other preparation (that we don't
claim to fully understand) makes dirt speedway a serious challenge. And racing on dirt
makes for some wild finishes!
